Shelley's design career began as a Graphic interior designer for her father's sign business designing graphics for hotel signage. She earned a design degree from Bassist Academy in Portland, Oregon in 1990, and she worked as a interior designer and sales associate in the hospitality industry. She joined the WCI team in 2010 as Lodging Purchasing Specialist for government owned and operated lodging facilities.
