Northwest chapter NEWH members gathered at the Galleryi in Seattle to attend the “NEWH Honors Awards 2” function. The event brought members together to award this year’s NEWH scholarship recipients and introduce the 2010 NEWH Board Members. The board also presented awards to deserving NEWH members who have had a positive impact on the hospitality community. Jennifer Hatfield received the Director’s Award in recognition of the NEWH event she hosted at the University Club in September 2009. The function was a first for Portland chapter members, assembling 150 hospitality professionals to mingle and discuss the industry. “I was completely surprised and honored to be considered for this special award,” says Hatfield. “It means so much to me and our staff!”
WCI Completes a Series of Passport Classes
